About our
financial support
AIM is a "faith mission" organization. The
missionaries who work under the banner of AIM are all
individually supported, and the responsibility to raise
that support is the missionary's. AIM does not employ us.
They simply represent us, and us them. Our mission
organization (and the IRS) determines what level of
financial support is reasonable based on our family size
and specific ministry overseas. This is our "support
target," and monthly contributions from about 50
individuals and 5 churches make up this support structure
for us. We rely on these gifts to live and work
where we do, and ultimately we trust in faith that God
will provide what we need. All contributions sent to AIM
in our name go specifically to us. If we happen to
be over our support target one month, the extra is set
aside for our family and the months when we happen to be
under.
In the years we have been active missionaries, we have
seen our support go up and down. Our target has changed
as our family has grown. We have gained supporters along
the way, and lost some too. Although most people make
pledges on how they will give, we never know what will
happen from month to month. Coming from a culture where
securing your own financial independence is supposed to
be the key to happiness, we are certainly traveling in a
different direction. We are, quite simply, constrained to
trust God. Some days this is a struggle, and some days I
think we may have stumbled onto the real key to happiness
– being caught up in something bigger than ourselves, and
the pursuit of something far more lasting than financial
success.

either one-time or regularly, simply send a check to AIM
along with a note designating the funds for the
"Delorenzos." 100% of gifts designated for us go to our
personal support and ministry and are tax-deductible.

Online giving via credit card is possible through AIM's
website. AIM also offers an option for setting up
automatic contributions from month to month – a very
practical way to help bring stability to our support

Prayer Support
As missionaries, we live with perhaps a greater sense of the need for prayer in all things. As we live and work in dependance on God, we covet your prayers for our family and ministry. We ourselves are regularly in prayer for our own faith to grow amidst our circumstances. For our safety, wisdom, and joy in the work. For our many relationships. For the countries and people we serve and love. For courage. And humility. Above all, for God's glory to shine through us.If you would pray for us regularly, we would ask that you pray for these things.
